Youth Group Winter Retreat
WINTER CAMP February 19-21. Meet at 3:45pm Friday @ church; return @ ~5:00pm Sunday. $90 Winter Camp 2010 (http://www.silverspur.com/creek.htm) is only a few weeks away and I don't want you to miss out! It will be A CRAZY WEEKEND! It will be awesome to see some of your camp friends again and to get away with your friends from our high school youth group.
What can you expect from A CRAZY WEEKEND?!? Besides crazy? Expect the adventure to begin the moment we leave for camp. Expect Sonic, the ultimate American Drive-in experience, for dinner Friday. Expect times of intimate worship surrounded by the beauty of creation. Expect to hear from a passionate speaker, Keivan Tehrani, an Iranian-Christian who has a powerful testimony and a passion for impacting students towards a life devoted to Jesus. Expect crazy fun in the snow when we go tubing. Expect epic games of Carpetball, PingPong, Basketball, and more. Expect memorable moments in your cozy cabin, around a roaring campfire, or in our coffeehouse. Expect a crazy weekend that you won't forget.
-This is a big trip, so signups are very important! You have until Sunday, February 7th to RSVP. In addition to warm clothes (there WILL be snow!), you need the following things: -Leland Snow Play (the snow tubing place) Liability release can be found at http://www.snowplay.com/group_agr.html -Our Youth Group Permission Slip (attached): WC3PermissionSlip.doc -The cost for this trip is $90, plus one meal on the road out-of-pocket.
