We now will be picking up and delivering food on Thursday mornings. We are able to pick up large amounts of food through the Contra Costa Food Bank and distribute that food to both the Head Start program that we have been involved with, as well as to other families in need. Since the Food Bank makes this substantial amount of food available on Thursday mornings, we need to accommodate their schedule.

Food Bank food needs to be picked up at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 3700 Concord Blvd., in Concord. The food is set out in the back parking lot. Walnut Creek Church of Christ volunteers need to be at this location by 8:50 a.m., with a vehicle that can accommodate a good amount of food.

No open toe shoes, drinks, or food are allowed in the parking lot during pick-up.

You must follow the sign-in and sign-out procedures. You must wear a designated badge that will be provided to you.
